Problem: Currently, there is no standardized way to calculate or visualize operation and work order lead times across materials and work centers, making it difficult to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency. Lead time data is fragmented, preventing stakeholders from analyzing trends by family, cell, work center, material number, or date range. The Main Lead Time Report/Graph will calculate average operation and WO lead times, enable dynamic filtering, and present results in clear visual formats. This will provide actionable insights to reduce delays, improve throughput, and optimize manufacturing performance.
Solution: We built a fully functional HQLV Lead Time page that calculates and displays average lead times by cell, material, and individual order. The tool provides drill-down capability from summary views to detailed order data, enabling quick identification of bottlenecks. With dynamic filters for family, cell, work center, material, and date range, users can analyze trends and compare planned vs. actual performance. This delivers actionable insights to improve throughput, reduce variability, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.

Displays aggregated lead time metrics by material within a selected cell, comparing planned vs. actual flow times to highlight performance trends across product lines.
1. HQLV Main Report

Provides a detailed breakdown of individual production orders, showing quantities, planned vs. actual times, and lateness to identify specific bottlenecks or late orders.
2. HQLV Order Report

A trend chart visualizing average flow times across a date range, enabling users to quickly see week-to-week or month-to-month fluctuations and identify periods of inefficiency.
3. HQLV Chart

A cell maintenance function where users can bulk-assign selected materials to sub-groups or remove cell-material relationship (ex., Small Lathe, Large Lathe) to better organize reporting and improve drill-down capability.
4. HQLV Cell Maintenance Modal
SAP Material Statistical Categories: This screen defines the category codes (e.g., C1–C9) and their descriptions (e.g., Threaded Tubulars, Machine Shop, Paint), providing the backbone for grouping lead time data into logical cells.
5. SAP Cell Header Table

SAP Material Statistical Category Assignments: This SAP configuration view shows how materials are linked to statistical categories, which in turn drive reporting rollups for cell-level performance tracking.
6. SAP Cell Item Table - (Child Relational Table)
